Known for their hand roasted fine coffees, Java City has seen growth of global proportions since their beginnings in 1985. This growth led Java City to seek the expertise of Western Contract Business Interiors to bring all the functions of their business under one roof with a cohesive corporate image.
Our
Challenge
Java City
previously occupied 5 separate buildings on one site before deciding
to combine their operations in a single facility. Our client sought
to accomplish a corporate image within specific budget parameters
and priorities while improving functional communications.
It
was our task to facilitate bringing together their functional and
aesthetic requirements for both internal and external audiences.
Our
Solution
Our design and
project management team worked closely with Java City to bring
together the look and function of their space. We began with
space planning and then proceeded to 3D workstation drawings to
visually illustrate solutions.
Ultimately,
we were able to provide interior finishes and exterior paint schemes
that reflected the colors and corporate graphics of Java City.
Using Haworth Moxie workstations, we created a cohesive, open and
fresh atmosphere while supplying privacy and visual texture for Java
City's team members. Our integrated approach (design, project
management, space planning, product and assembly services) produced
a win-win situation for Java City in achieving their desired image
without sacrificing their style or their budget.
